Operating Engineers 324 Endorses Angela Witwer for 71st State House District
Democrat Will Support Rebuilding Our Infrastructure, Skilled Trades Jobs
DELTA TWP. –– Today, Operating Engineers 324 endorsed Angela Witwer for the open 71st state House District in Eaton County due to her support for rebuilding our infrastructure, skilled trades training and creating good-paying jobs.
“Angela Witwer knows that rebuilding Michigan’s infrastructure, roads and bridges is vitally important for our economy. As a small business owner, Angela knows what it takes to create good-paying jobs. We look forward to working people having a partner in the 71st House District with Angela Witwer,” said Operating Engineers 324 Political Director Nic Clark.
Witwer is a small business owner in Delta Twp. She serves as vice president of the Waverly Community Schools Board of Education. She also serves as a board member and committee member for the Volunteers of America, McLaren Greater Lansing Foundation and Michigan State University’s Wharton Center for the Performing Arts.
“OE 324 takes pride in training the skilled tradespeople of tomorrow and Angela knows how critical this is. We need more state legislators who will support investing in our infrastructure at this critical time for Michigan.
