Operating Engineers 324 endorse Steve Marino in 24th State House district race
LANSING – Operating Engineers 324 today announced their endorsement of State Rep. Steve Marino (R-Harrison Township) to continue serving as state representative of Michigan’s 24th House district.
“Operating Engineers 324 is proud to endorse Steve Marino in his re-election bid for the 24th House District because he has shown time and time again that he’ll stand up for working men and women,” said Douglas W. Stockwell, Operating Engineers 324 Business Manager and General Vice-President. “We prioritize policy over party, and Steve Marino voted with working families and Michigan’s skilled trades by supporting Michigan’s prevailing wage. Our members work hard every day to build and repair our state’s roads, bridges and schools, and Steve has worked just as hard for them in Lansing.”
OE324 represents the highly skilled workers who run heavy machinery that builds and repairs our roads, bridges, schools, airports and nearly every large-scale project in the state. OE324 membership is also comprised of highly skilled stationary engineers who operate and tend to complex boiler and HVAC systems throughout the state and the trained technicians who repair this equipment.
