Operating Engineers 324 endorse Brett Roberts in 24th state Senate district primary race
LANSING – Operating Engineers 324 today announced their endorsement of State Rep. Brett Roberts (R-Eaton Township) in the Republican primary for state senator representing Michigan’s 24th Senate district.
“Operating Engineers 324 is proud to endorse Brett Roberts in the Republican primary for the 24th State Senate District because working men and women know they can count on Brett to be a tireless advocate on their behalf,” said Nic Clark, Political Director for Operating Engineers 324. “During his time serving in the Michigan House, Brett Roberts has shown he’s willing to stand apart for working families, support Michigan’s skilled trades and the men and women who work hard every day to build and repair our state’s roads, bridges and schools. That support never wavered during the battle to preserve Prevailing Wage, and it continues today.”
OE324 represents the highly skilled workers who run the heavy machinery that builds and repairs our roads, bridges, buildings, energy plants, pipelines, airports and nearly every large-scale project in the state. Membership is also comprised of the highly skilled stationary engineers who operate and tend to complex boiler and HVAC systems throughout the state and the trained technicians who repair this equipment.
OE324 members are also on the forefront of technology, operating next-generation tools like robotic and remote-controlled machines and drones.
